Id, ego and superego

One ceramic work entitled “Id, ego and superego,” which includes 3 abstract sculptures.

I deliberately did not assign the names of the human psyche according to Freud to a particular sculpture. I wanted them to have one common title.

I did not make this work to please anyone, not even me. The main assumption guiding my creation was to create a situation in which my inner voice, an archetype, would speak, and it would guide my hands giving form to the clay pieces, involving as little as possible in the thought process. Whether I succeeded, I don't know. Either way, I'm happy with the result.
